Mike Delgado

Visual Instructor

Mr. Delgado a Miami native has an extensive background in performance, having performed in the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition to his musical experience as a Flautist, He toured the United States and Canada playing Contra with the Canadian National Champions, The Kiwanis Kavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. and spent the following two seasons touring the United States and Europe with DCI World Finalists, the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps, from Toledo, Ohio.

As an Educator, Mr. Delgado has been involved with a number of Marching Arts programs in South Florida as a Visual Caption Head, Visual Consultant and Guest Clinician. He has had the pleasure of working with G. Holmes Braddock HS (FMBC Class 1A Finalists), West Boca Raton HS (FMBC Class 4A 1st Runner-up), Miami Senior HS (FMBC Class 1A 2nd Runner-up), Miami Coral Park HS (FMBC Class 2A State Champion, 2011), Hialeah Senior HS, Cooper City HS, Hialeah Gardens HS (FMBC Class 2A 2nd Runner-up) and Charles W. Flanagan HS (FMBC Class 3A Finalist)

Mr. Delgado has also been involved with the WGI Winds activity since its inception, and was a founding member of the Visual Team at FIU World Winds in 2015. During his tenure at FIU, the ensemble became the inaugural WGI Winds Independent Open champion in 2015, WIA Champions in 2016, WIW Bronze Medalist in 2017, and WIW Fan Favorite in 2018. In addition to his contributions to the FIU World Winds, Mr. Delgado has also worked on the Visual Team for Flanagan Winds in 2018 (WGI WSW Gold Medalist) 2019 (WGI WSW Silver Medalist), Doral Academy Winds, Cooper City Winds, Stryke Wynds and Stoneman Winds.

Mr. Delgado is currently the Visual Caption Head at Hialeah Gardens Hs and on the Visual Team with STRYKE Wynds. Mr Delgado is honored on taking the new role as the visual caption head at the Eagle Regiment.
