Happy Friday! Band Camp 3 is just upon us and our 2022-23 school year is about to begin. Congrats to our Students as you have made it through 2 of 3 Band Camps and before you know it, we will be at our last competition in November!!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS & UPCOMING EVENTS:
BAND CAMP 3 IS MONDAY - FRIDAY, AUGUST 8-12 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
MUSIC FLIP FOLDERS & MUSIC LYRES NEEDED FOR ALL WIND PLAYERS THIS MONDAY
Please be sure to cut and place all of your music ito your flip folder BEFORE Mon., Aug 8th. You eill need this every day of Band Camp 3.
PRE-PARTICIPATION PHYSICAL FORMS
This form is now due! Please schedule a Doctor's appointment as the form requires a Doctor's Signature. This form is available in the "Files" section of the BAND app. These are required for all band participants!
DUES:
All dues through July should have been paid. August is due next week. Our treasurer, Idith Kokulyansky has been sending monthly charms statements and instructions were posted on the BAND App for accessing Charms. Past due accounts will impact ability to perform at games and competitions. Payments are due the 15th of each month with all dues being paid by October 15th. Please keep in mind we rely on these funds to book our travel plans and pay our staff.
**Failure to communicate directly with our treasurer will impact your students' participation. The treasurer is the only person that manages dues.

June 15, 2022 $385.00 Payment #1
July 15, 2022 $385.00 Payment #2
August 15, 2022 $385.00 Payment #3

INSTRUMENT RENTAL:
Instrument rental information has been posted to band app. Please secure your instrument for the season during Band Camp 3, BEFORE school starts.
SENIOR BANNERS:
Senior Banner pictures will be taken during Band Camp 3 on Monday, August 8th in the morning. These banners will be hung on the bleachers during our marching season and returned to students at our end of year banquet. The banner cost is $40, payable directly to Leigh W Photo. More details can be found on the flyer on the BAND App.

** Seniors should take their uniform from the closet first thing Monday and begin to dress. You do not need your dinkels, but jacket, bibbers and gauntlets should be on. No need to get your shako. Hair can be worn as desired.
LETTERMAN JACKETS:
We will be doing our final collection of letterman jacket orders for 2022. We cannot get beyond this date for 2022. This form is available in the "Files" section of the BAND app. Forms and payment to NEFF (cash or check only) must be turned in by Friday, August 12 at Band Camp 3. A reminder that this jacket is required for all those attending the London trip and will also be required for next year's NY trip. LONDON:
It is still not too late to join this amazing experience although the final commitment deadline is approaching. We need to submit all rosters on September 1. **Please note that all passengers must have a valid passport. All US passports must have a validity in excess of 6 months after the date of return to the US (January 3). Remember that passport copies are due on August 10th at the MEPA Parent Meeting.
BOWLING:
Our annual end of camp bowling event is around the corner! Saturday, August 13 6:00 PM at AMF Lanes, 2020 N State Road 7, Margate. ER Members can purchase tickets online for $20 at www.stonemandouglasband.com/bowlingnight. Ticket includes 2 hours of bowling, 2 slices of pizza, unlimited beverages and a $5 arcade card.
POPS-N-PIES FUNDRAISER:
Pops-N-Pies Performance and Fundraiser will be Friday, August 19th. This is the first performance in full ER uniform and our show, The Living Seas! Each section is asked to provide an item for their basket theme in support of this event. List posted on band app! Baskets are raffled at this fun event. Event tickets are now on sale at www.stonemandouglasband.com/popsnpie! Everyone requires a ticket. Raffle tickets can be purchased with cash or card the evening of the event. We hope to see you there!
