Eagle Regiment Family,
Thank you all for a wonderful 2 weeks of Band Camp. I know this year was a little different, but we appreciate everyone's flexibility. You all showed a lot of growth, and we are looking forward to seeing this show come together.
Monday is the first day of school, and we begin afterschool rehearsals on Tuesday. Please make sure you are bringing everything you need to be successful at rehearsal to school on rehearsal days. Please keep an eye on the band apps also, as we will post what is needed for class, and rehearsal schedules.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
If you are available for a few hours on any of the days and would like to volunteer to help, we could really use you. Please click on the link below to sign up for a shift.

We posted the sign-up for football parking. If you would like to help with this fundraising activity please sign-up for a spot or 10. https://band.us/band/94471939/post/128 All volunteers will be finished prior to the band's half time performance each game.
Also, please remember that if you are volunteering in any capacity, we need a security clearance on file. If you have not already done so, please go to the website linked below to complete the application and forward your approval (usually received the same day) to Mrs. Gagne at mepavp@eagleregiment.com
DUES:
All dues through July should now be paid, for both MEPA and Bob Rodgers Travel. Our treasurer has been sending monthly statements. Past due accounts will also impact the ability to perform at games, competitions, and travel with the group. Please keep in mind that program membership payments are necessary to book our travel plans and pay our support staff. WAYS TO PAY:
Pay by PAYPAL via CHARMS: Log in to Charms and click the “Finances” icon. Scroll to the Fee Payment History page, place a check mark in the box next to the item you wish to pay, then click “Pay Fees” and proceed through the process.*Very Important: After completing your payment, click the “Return to Stoneman Douglas Marching Eagles” button to record your payment in the Charms system.
Pay by CHECK: Payable to MEPA. Place envelope labeled with students name Membership Dues in black safe in band room.

PAPERWORK UPDATE:
We have updated our 2024-25 Member Agreement and our Attendance Email Address. We have also shared our EVENT DATES through the end of 2024. PARENTS/GUARDIANS, please use the link below to view these documents and sign the digital acknowledgment. Every family needs to fill out this form only 1 time. We have opened the Eagle Regiment Store again. Because we do not have a designated space for the store on campus, we are ONLY accepting ONLINE orders at this time. If you have not submitted your form for Required Items yet we MUST receive it by Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
MARCHING SHOES:
The new marching shoes have arrived and will be distributed at the end of rehearsal on Tuesday. PLEASE try them on Tuesday night (try them on inside - only non-worn shoes can be returned). If they do not fit, return them on Wednesday at rehearsal with a note of what size you would like to exchange them for. We will have to do one big group exchange, and we need to have a quick turnaround for this. I need all shoes that need to be exchanged back on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. LETTERMAN JACKETS:
Letterman Jackets have arrived. These will also be distributed on Tuesday after rehearsal. Mrs. Campbell has looked them all over for correctness, but if she missed something, please return the jacket on Wednesday with a note of what the error is. If it is an error from the manufacturer, they will correct it.If you have any questions, you can contact Mrs. Campbell at mepapresident@eagleregiment.com.
POPS'N PIES:
Our annual Pops'n Pies event will be held on September 13, 2024. Tickets will go on sale in a few weeks. Each section is assigned a specific raffle basket to create. We ask each student to contribute 1 item or $15 towards their section's basket.
If you own a business or know someone who would like to donate products, services, or gift certificates to our raffle, please contact Ms. Newhof at fundraising@eagleregiment.com.
SPONSORSHIPS:
We are still accepting 2024-25 Season sponsorships. If you are interested in sponsoring the Eagle Regiment this year, you can complete this form. Donations can be made by cash, check, or Zelle. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Laurenzano at sponsors@eagleregiment.com.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL:
Monday is the first day of the 2024/25 school year. The red gates to the school open at 7:15 AM, the first bell rings at 7:35 AM, and classes start at 7:40 AM. You need to ensure you are on time every single day.
If you need to drop off your instrument or flag bag, you will need to meet at the Mini Gym between 7:20 AM and 7:30 AM. If you do not make it during this time block, you will need to carry your equipment with you for the day.
PRACTICE UNIFORM:
Students are required to wear White Shirt, Black Shorts and Sneakers (converse, vans and similar shoes are not expectable) to ALL Camps and Rehearsals.
