Eagle Regiment Family,
Good morning! Our Concert Bands, the Symphonic Band and the Wind Orchestra will perform at the 2023 District Concert MPA this Wednesday, March 8, at Flanagan HS. The Symphonic Band will perform at 2:15 PM and the Wind Orchestra will perform at 6:30 PM. Please try and attend one or both performances as they will be amazing!
*As the Symphonic Band Students were told, their is a shortage of BCPS Busses: therefore, Symphonic Band Parents will need to pick up their Child at Flanagan HS at 3:30 PM. (Please try and be present for their 2:15 PM Performance)

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
WIND ORCHESTRA STUDENTS:
This is the Top Band at MSD and it is truely a priviledge to be a member of this Ensemble. I am concerned to see and hear that some members of the Wind Orchestra are not utilizing their best instrument for class. This practice can have a negative affect on your playing as well as the Ensemble. Moving forward, you are to play on the instrument that you perform on. Please contact me with any questions.

2023 DRUM MAJOR CANDIDATE TRAINING:
This Thursday will be the first training session for Drum Major Candidates. The Session will be from 3:00 PM - 3:40 PM. Please bring a notebook with Paper & Pen.
"GUARDCUSSION SHOW":
Saturday, March 11 is our date to host the annual SFWGA Guard show which also includes FFCC this year. This results in an all hands on deck Guardcussion Show 2023 like no other! We need as many people as possible to join us in the orchestration of this massive event with over 50 groups attending.
Eagle Regiment Parents/Guardians: We ask that all ER families select one shift.
Details for each shift are posted in the description.
Eagle Regiment Members: As with years past, it is mandatory for ALL ER students to volunteer for a shift at our show. Volunteer hours will be awarded at the completion of each shift. Students will check in and out with our Volunteer Coordinator. You are welcome to sign up for more than one shift. Assignments will be provided at check in. Color Guard and Percussion, you will assist in setup the evening prior and the morning of due to performing in the event.
Donation of Items: It takes many items to run our concessions and various areas of the show. Please consider donating items to help us keep our out of pocket expenses lower!
Loans Items: We need many tables, kitchen appliances and various other items to make this show happen! We ask to borrow and then return items from our families!
